Leader of research groups in the area Medicinal plants of the Sudan, Natural Products (gum producing species) and Plant Growth Regulation, Application of plant tissue culture techniques in micropropagation of endangered plant species, production of secondary metabolites, and production of haploids for genetic improvement of crops.
