I am a lecturer in the University of Khartoum at the Department of Botany . I am interested in the use of bacterial volatiles (specially Actinomycetes) as alternative to fungicides for sustainable crop protection. Now I am a PhD student of plant-microbe interactions at the University of Fribourg, Switzerland.

My research interest is plant-microbe interaction and the ability of plant-associated bacteria to emit volatile compounds that protect plants against diseases.
